MedOrdinance FAQ
Answers about the Albanian-language, all-in-one clinic and dental practice software for Kosovo and Albania.
What is MedOrdinance?
MedOrdinance is an all-in-one, Albanian-language software to run a medical or dental clinic. It brings patients, appointments, e-prescriptions, invoicing, inventory, accounting, online booking and a dental odontogram into a single platform, built for Kosovo and the Albanian-speaking market.
Which clinic management software is best for Kosovo or Albania?
The best fit is one that is fully in Albanian, includes the official LBE drug catalog, covers billing and prescriptions, keeps everything in one place and hosts data securely. MedOrdinance is purpose-built for this market and meets all of these, at €29/month with a 30-day free trial.
Is there Albanian dental software with an odontogram?
Yes. MedOrdinance has a visual odontogram for dentists (surfaces, statuses, periodontal chart and a PDF report), plus invoicing, prescriptions and online booking, all in Albanian. It is one of the few Albanian systems with a real integrated odontogram inside a full clinic platform.
How much does MedOrdinance cost?
€29 per month per clinic, everything included, with no per-workstation fee. There is a 30-day free trial with no credit card, and you can cancel anytime.
How is it different from generic international EMR tools?
International tools usually lack the Albanian language, the LBE drug catalog and the local billing flow, so they need adapting and still feel foreign. MedOrdinance has these built in, adds a visual odontogram and offers local support in Albanian.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. MedOrdinance installs as a PWA on phones and computers straight from the browser, with no app store, and works the same on Android, iPhone and desktop.
Is patient data secure, and where is it stored?
Yes. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), daily backups are encrypted, and there is two-factor authentication and role-based access. Data is stored and processed in Switzerland (operated by Anunet.ch), under a DPA, following nLPD/GDPR principles for medical data.
Does anyone actually use MedOrdinance?
Yes. A reference customer is OsteoMED Poliklinikë, which uses MedOrdinance for day-to-day patient, appointment and billing management.
